Throughout my years in the insurance industry, I’ve had the good fortune to
    experience first-hand almost every aspect of it’s distribution system. My 30-
    plus years as an insurance industry executive, sales manager, coach,
    trainer and independent business owner have prepared me well for my
    role as owner and principal sales manager of Agency Sales Pro, LLC…

    As a Producer for both a large direct writing insurer and an independent
    insurance agency, I gained insights into the daily challenges faced by
    sales professionals.

    As a Marketing Representative, Branch Manager and Distribution
    Development Manager for a large regional carrier, I was accountable for
    relationships with literally hundreds of insurance agencies. As a result, I
    advanced my understanding of the delicate balance that exists between
    carrier and agency, and importantly how sales professionals can effectively
    manage that relationship to win business in the marketplace.

    As a National Sales Manager I led and managed a team of geographically
    dispersed sales professionals learning the intricacies and overcoming the
    challenges and complexities associated with managing from afar.

    As an Insurance Industry Consultant, Trainer and Coach I was able to put
    into practice a long held personal belief: one-on-one coaching and
    mentoring gets results. I worked hand-in-hand with agency principals and
    their sales professionals to foster significant improvement in production
    and profitability.

    As Trainer for both the Dale Carnegie “Sales Advantage” and Insurance
    Learning Systems “Prisms” sales programs, I received yet another
    perspective, rounding out my understanding of the sales process; and the
    by-product is my appreciation of the fact that a “roll up your sleeves”,
    pragmatic, results-oriented personal road map focusing on behaviors,
    activities, outcomes and disciplines will get results for the sales
    professional.

    I am a graduate of Canisius College with a B.S. in Business Administration
    and Marketing and hold the CPCU designation from the American
    Institute of Property and Liability Underwriters in Malvern, Pa. I am a
    member of the Greater Valley  Forge (PA) CPCU Chapter (and formerly the
    Candidate Development Chair for the Utica, NY Chapter.) I serve as a
    Business Development Consultant with IMMS/Group 500. I currently serve
    on the advisory board of Insurance Hiring System. Over the years I have
    served  in various capacities with the United Way and the Boy Scouts of
    America including In House Coordinator (BSA) and Retail Division Chair
    (United Way). My wife Sandi and I have two grown daughters and reside in
    the suburban Philadelphia area.
